Karin Avila our Spain-based correspondent was born and lived in the United States until two and a half years ago when she moved to Valencia province, Last month she went back to New York to tidy up some business, meet ex-colleagues and friends, including our New York correspondent Phil Brown. Compared to Europe she did not enjoy the New YorK City dining experience or the 20% tip and the wine at $20 a glass. She told Graeme Kemlo how she felt about about her old hometown.
