Our reporter Carolyne Jasinski recently spent a few days in Tasmania learning the fine art of fly fishing with expert guide Matt Stone. In her own words – she’s hooked on it now, but that was only after a lot of laughs, trying not to get bogged in her waders, having to go back and re-learn the basics and lots of practice casts. She reckons it is the ultimate girls’ weekend because it doesn’t matter whether you catch a fish or not.
