For our reporter in Perth Western Australia,. Carmen Jenner, it is only a three hour flight to Bali. She’s been there often and stayed at different locations, but recently to celebrate a birthday she and her husband decided that five days in Ubud would be perfect. This was not a press trip, they paid for everything, maybe getting a little more than they bargained for. Carmen tells Graeme Kemlo it was a great trip made interesting by an earthquake and her encounter with some gatecrashing guests. She had a great trip, and shares her advice on where to stay and eat and things to do… but she shares her experiences as a warning to the unwary visitor.
