The USA has recently seen a series of nationwide protests, initially it was the No Kings rallies that brought an estimated 7 million people on to the streets of major US cities and now that has morphed into protests against the White House expenditure cuts that are impacting up to 40 million Americans, many of whom live in low socio-economic circumstances supported by government-issued food stamps that have been cut off.
