Alistair Smith Discovers Australia’s Own Stonehenge in Western Australia
Veteran reporter Alistair Smith has discovered a full-sized modern version of Britain’s famous Stonehenge in the south-west corner of Western Australia. It is a complete circle of stones, scientifically set up to deliver the summer and winter solstice sunrise and sunset rays that illuminate the central altar carved from the local pink granite of Esperance.
