Melbourne journalist and author Alistair Smith is a former newspaperman who still has stories to tell. Graeme Kemlo invited Alistair to tell his story in a new medium and he delights in talking to us about his recent Sri Lanka trip. Alistair avoided the major cities, preferring to see smaller, less crowded places with a story to tell, such as a fifth-century BC fortress. His favourite experience was an elephant safari.
