Graerme Kemlo recalls quite vivid memories of travelling by train between Melbourne and Adelaide on the Overland, going to see my grandparents, both with the family and a few times solo. This was in the sixties and plane travel was costly, but I really loved the overnight train. I am not the only one as Mike Smith tells us in introducing his friend Dr Dorian Mode, who recorded this reminiscence of his time travelling the Southern Aurora.
