We played that remix of the iconic Greek theme, Zorba The Greek – from the 1964 movie starring Anthony Quinn – because we have an interview coming up with experts on the Mediterranean Diet, which has now been modernized since it was first described in the 1950s as a recipe for a long heal;thy life. It has been studied over the years and one of its experts is Dr Catherine Itsiopoulos, the Dean of Health at RMIT University. Catherine and her daughter Vivienne Koutsis have written the book on the modern Mediterranean Diet a nd I spoke to them in Melbourne , which is reputedly the second largest Greek city in the world.
