Winemaker Maria Sancho Produces Organic Biodynamic Wines In Teulada Spain -Karin Avila
Karin Avila in Spain spoke last week about attending the Moscatell Festival. Well this week she returns to the village of Teulada’s and visits a nearby bodega (winery), Montesanco, which is dedicated to biodynamic principles. It is an historic vineyard which 100 years ago survived an attack of Phylloxera. It used to produce and export worldwide sun-dried raisins from a special variety of moscatell grape, . Karin speaks with the winemaker Maria Sancho, who describes the winery as “a family project of love and respect for the land, our landscapes and culture.” More information:
