GK It is described as a love letter to the growers, producers and the wines of Australia. Written by a pair of American master sommeliers, Jane Lopes and husband Jonathan Ross, How To Drink Australian is a solid 495-page hard cover book that details over 600 producers and their wines, plus specially drawn maps of the wine regions in each state. I spoke to Jane – the only woman in Australia to pass the Master Sommelier exam – and found her to be quite an evangelist for Australian wine from her home in Nashville Tennessee where she and her husband run Legend Australian Wine Imports.
