Well this is a great idea…if you can’t get Melburnians to come out into the regions during winter, you bring the region – well, the best of its food and wine – to the city to give them a taste of what they are missing. It is the idea of the Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges to partner with Crown Resorts in the city and use their Evergreen restaurant to showcase their region both for leisure and business visitors. CEO of Yarra Ranges Tourism, Simon O’Callaghan (O’Kell-ah-gan) tells Graeme Kemlo other Victorian regions are also looking at the pop-up concept.
