A Ukrainian-born Australian conductor and his singer wife are changing all of that with Music at Yours. It was one of the good news stories from Covid in Sydney, a kind of reintroduction of salon music when only a very limited number of people could gather. And now it’s spreading, and there are concerts in breweries and all kinds of places. Including – and perhaps especially, since the acoustics are so good – in synagogues.
