Fiona Harper’s Mixed Emotions In Kanchanaburi Thailand
Our reporter Fiona Harper is just back from a visit to Thailand where she spent some time away from the usual hustle and bustle of Bangkok, opting to go west to Kanchanaburi near the Myanmar border. There she had an emotional visit to the site of the Burma Railway (as it was known) where many Australian soldiers died during World War II.
