Carolyne Jasinski’s Outback Rescue, Dials 000 With No Mobile Signal -Graeme Kemlo
Carolyne Jasinski is on a half-lap of Australia in her RV and got bogged in some sand in the outback, miles from anywhere. She called Triple 0, which is an emergency number available even on a mobile phone which says it has no signal. It worked and as she explained to me Graeme Kemlo, Carolyne was rescued by the owner of a nearby property, a man named Noel Mitchell of Birdum Creek Station…he’s a real hero because foe risk of perishing if caught without water in 35 degrees Celsius in the desert is very real in Ausdtralia’s outback.
