Professor Colin Ellard is a cognitive neuroscientist at the University of Waterloo in Ontario Canada and he studies the effect on people of the places they know, or visit and how they impact your feelings and your behavior. While the built environment environment is an important area of his study we wondered whether there was a role for this type of scientific study, known as psychogeography, in travel and tourism.
