– My co-host Phil Brown went on a business trip – actually it was a convention – from New York to Estonia and maybe he was not quite sure about this as a typical destination when there were so many places in the Caribbean, Hawaii or the Far East, but the Eastern Bloc? Anyway here’s another story with a surprising ending. Estonia turned out to be a country rich with thousands of years of history, and a yearning for freedom that saw them leave Russia first in 1918, and then again breaking away from annexation after WWII that lasted until 1991 and Estonia declared itself an independent republic with a democratic parliamentary system.
