We love a long weekend Downunder, especially an unofficial one, like this weekend. January 26 is Australia Day, and while that itrself is a contentious day for our first nations, and not a celebration at all, everybody takes the holiday. Except this year, when it falls on a Tuesday…and it seems as though the city and suburbs have been deserted for nearby holiday playgrounds like the Mornington Peninsula an hour south east of Melbourne.
So our Worth 1000 Words image this weekend is from wine country. It was incredibly busy all four days of opur impromptu long weekend as a couple enjoying the view, the wine and the fine fare.
